Acts 28:31 He proclaimed the kingdom of God and taught about the Lord Jesus Christ—with all boldness and without hindrance! The Book of Acts closes by telling us that Paul proclaimed the kingdom of God and taught about the Lord Jesus Christ with all boldness and without hindrance. And this is exactly what God’s people need to be doing today. Over the last few lessons we have looked at ways to do this. We looked a couple of weeks ago about having a Christian Worldview and being able to explain to others why we believe what we do. Last week we looked at 2 Corinthians 5:1-9 and the question “What happens when we die?” As Christians we need to have confidence of our eternal life with Jesus Christ and that confidence should also give us the courage to live in such a way that boldly proclaims the kingdom of God. Another important aspect of boldly and without hindrance proclaiming the kingdom of God is prayer. There are numerous examples of powerful prayers in the Bible and today we are going to focus on one man’s prayer that is often overlooked but we can learn a great deal from the short yet powerful prayer of a little know man by the name of Jabez.
