What a great weekend we had at the Cloudcroft Church of Christ. On Saturday, we fed around 50 high schoolers at the 5th quarter meal following the football game. So many pitched in to provide food, drinks, cook food, transport food, and hang out and visit with the kids and school officials.
Sunday began with a great auditorium class taught by one of our shepherds, Mark Horton, on Daniel. The Young Adult Class was so full we had to round up extra chairs. The worship was fantastic. Mike Hurley led our song service which was very uplifting. The men serving on the Lord’s Table brought a good message relating to the sacrifice of Jesus. Our sermon came from Ezekiel 35-36 and the great inheritance we have as Christians along with the great responsibility that comes with that. We enjoyed a wonderful meal together following services and one of our young men, James (age 13), gave his first afternoon devotional and did a fantastic job. All in all a great weekend for the Lord’s church in Cloudcroft.
