For out of the heart come evil thoughts—murder, adultery, sexual immorality, theft, false testimony, slander. Matthew 15:19
We work hard to keep our outward appearance attractive, but what is in our hearts is more important. The way we are deep down is what matters most to God. This is what Jesus was trying to get across to the Scribes and Pharisees in Matthew chapter 5. This Sunday, we will take a look at the portion of the Sermon on the Mount concerning murder in Matthew 5:21-26. Looking forward to seeing everyone this week.
