The most powerful tool we have as Christians is prayer. Last week we looked at how Daniel prayed and how his consistent prayer life helped him to live a godly life in an ungodly world. That was personal prayer. There is also great power in congregational power. In Paul’s first letter to Timothy, he addressed several things concerning the worship assembly of the church in Ephesus. In chapter 2 verses 1-4 he addressed congregational prayer. This Sunday, we will look closer at these verses and see how we can better pray as a congregation.
Don’t forget “Pew Packers” on the front row right in front of the communion table. This is for our little kids (or kids at heart) on Sunday mornings at 10:50. We will do a short lesson and maybe a song or two for the little kids in the congregation. The adults can attend or continue visiting, whatever suits you. We want to have something for our little ones but do not want to take away from the great fellowship that goes on before worship service.
Praying everyone had a blessed Thanksgiving Holiday,
In Christ, Gary T.
