In a few days the majority of our culture will dive into the deep waters of the Christmas Season. While the Bible does not give a date for the birth of Jesus nor does it tell us to celebrate or designate a specific day to remember Jesus’ birth, it does open a door to talk to others about Jesus and what the Bible does say about Him. Jesus’s birth was certainly important but no more important than His perfect life, sacrificial death, and miraculous resurrection. It His death, burial, and resurrection that Christians are to remember and observe.
This coming Sunday we will begin a 5-part series on worship by looking at 5 great stories of worship in the Bible. We will begin this week by looking at Jesus’ conversation with a Samaritan woman concerning worship recorded for us in John 4:20-24.
